Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday dear Christina! Happy birthday to me!
On this date, 22 years ago, I escaped from my mother's womb. Hooray!

My dad and I have been tossing around ideas for what song we want to dance to for our father-daughter dance at the wedding (which, by the way, is only 41 days away.) A few weeks ago he tossed out a song that really surprised me, "All You Need Is Love" by the greatest band to ever walk this beautiful planet. Little did he know that from the first time I seriously thought of my wedding and the songs I'd dance to, that was the one I wanted for us. From as early as I could remember, my dad would play Beatles records (yes, those big black things) for me and I grew to love their music and the message that song conveyed. Minor problem though, as great as the Beatles were, they wrote the song in a very strange time signature that goes between 4/4, 3/4 and who knows what else, which makes it a tricky song to dance to. My dad is a very talented man in many areas, but dancing is not one of them.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is, are there any musicians or dancers out there that have any suggestions. I already asked Scott if it'd be hard to play the song in a straight 4 and he said it'd take a lot of rehearsal and probably wouldn't really be worth the effort. Any suggestions about how to make this song work? Or maybe suggestions for songs that wouldn't be so troublesome, but aren't your standard father-daughter songs that everyone uses? Any opinions would help! :]
